2012, so far

So it took my long enough to finish my 2011 post, but now that I have I really have a goal to blog every day, even if nothing happen and all I have to post is a picture of my lunch. What, you don't take pictures of your food?

Yay! Happy New Year! Now what the heck did I do this day?!

Oh yeah, because I stayed up until about 4 am the night before (playing on the computer and watching tv, don't let me fool you!) I slept so late, until about 11am! This is ridiculous for me as I usually panic if I sleep past 8:30 on a day off. I have this irrational fear that I am going to miss out on my day and waste it if I sleep in.

At some point in the day I invited Layla to "run to target with me." Ha! I never just run to Target! I originally wanted to go to finally buy the newest True Blood/Sookie stackhouse book, but they didn't have it in stock. :( I ended up stocking up on some beauty essentials, I got a cute dress and some tops on sale, and I found these magical Harajuku Lovers mermaids hair clips in the little girls section!

That night I went to Jorge's to hang out. We drank wine and watched Office Space (which I don't remember!) and Rocko's Modern Life. Fun fun. :)

The 2nd:
Nothing exciting at all happened on Monday. It was an extra day off from work and I treated it as such. I laid around and watched downloaded episodes of The Rachel Zoe Project for most of the day. In the late afternoon I got a sudden wind of inspiration to clean the heck out of my room and do all of my laundry. It feels good to start of your week clean and fresh, so starting off the year life that is definitely a good idea!

The 3rd:
Yesterday was my first day back to work for the new year. I spent it being totally crabbity. I wore my new dress from Target, but someone decided it would be a good idea to make the temperature like 40 degrees, so I was freezing all day yesterday! I spent the majority of the day in a fog, feeling sleepy and cold.

The rest of the day I was a little more alert, but then work was over and all I wanted to do was drive home, put on 5 layers of clothes, and crawl up in bed. Which I pretty much did. Sweats+pigs in a blanket+ like 4 hours of the Big Bang Theory concluded my evening.

And now we are all caught up to today! I really do hope to be a more efficient blogger. I just need to remember to take more pictures and make my life more exciting so I have things to write about!
