Getting into the Swing of Things

My goal is to write these daily entries at the end of each day while everything is still fresh in my mind, but it seems much more appealing to wait until the next morning and do them at work. I need to make myself figure out some sort of blogging routine. And I'm also toying with the idea of certain types of posts for each day, each week. We shall see.

Anyway, yesterday was a pretty good day at work. I was proud of myself for hardly eating anything, just a V8 and half of this pureed strawberry thingy, but I damaged that by the end of the night! I really need to set up some guidelines for dieting. My main goal is to eat the majority of my daily food allowance in the middle of the day and just a tiny bit around dinner time, if I am hungry.

Lately I have been feeling weird about taking lunches for multiple reasons. One being it has been too dang cold to want to leave the building, two being that I'm afraid that by going to lunch I will want to eat, and three for some reason I feel like I'm skipping out on work for some reason, even though I am allowed an hour for lunch. Yesterday I decided to go to the park and and eat, I just wanted to get out of the office for a bit. While I was at the park, I saw a man playing the guitar while riding a unicycle! What the heck?!

After work I had made plans with Allie to go to Rock the Park downtown. I went once before in October or November and I really enjoyed it, so I decided to go again. Layla and I bundled up and packed blankets and I brought myself a thermos of wine and we headed to Curtis Hixon where we met up with Allie and a bunch of her friends. I'd like to get some of my friends to start going, I think that'd make it more fun. I love Allie, but most of friends are a little too "adult"/technological for me. They talk about things like babies and spreadsheets and, I don't know, 401ks. They are nice people, just not people I'd want to actually hangout with on purpose.

Layla and I only stayed until about 8:30 even though the music was good, we were getting bored. On our way home I was star4ving and decided to completely undo my diet by stopping at Krystal. Damn you Chili Cheese Pups!

Oh and I really want to try to start taking outfit pics. The main reasons I don't is because I am super self conscious of my body right now, and I don't have a decent way of taking the photos! I know I have style and I'd like to start documenting it! So here's a horrible snap of my, taking in the reflection of the elevator doors at work yesterday. I'm wearing target all on my top half, Old Navy jeggings, and Kelsi Dagger booties.
